FAQ

General Questions

1. What is Find My Lab Test (FMLT)?

Find My Lab Test (FMLT) is a platform that helps you access affordable, physician-authorized lab tests at local partner laboratories through its service provider, Lab Testing API. You can take charge of your health without needing a doctor’s visit.

2. Who can use FMLT’s services?

Our services are available to individuals 18 years and older. Due to state restrictions, testing is not available to residents of New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Arizona (AZ), or Rhode Island (RI).

3. Do I need a doctor’s prescription to order a test?

No. A physician from Lab Testing API’s network will review and approve your order, providing the required test requisition so you can proceed to testing.

4. Is FMLT a healthcare provider or laboratory?

No. FMLT is not a healthcare provider, medical facility, or lab. We act as a platform that connects you with physician-authorized testing services through Lab Testing API. Our service is not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

5. Is my information protected?

Yes. Through our partner Lab Testing API, we maintain strict HIPAA compliance, ensuring your data remains confidential and secure.

6. Do you accept insurance for lab tests?

No, we do not accept insurance. All our tests are out-of-pocket services and are not billed through any insurance provider.
This allows us to offer transparent, upfront pricing without unexpected costs or delays.

You are welcome to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) if eligible, but please confirm with your provider.

7. What is your partnership for lab testing services

FMLT works with Lab Testing API, its chosen physician network, and accredited laboratories to provide our lab testing services.
If your results are overdue, please contact our Customer Service team, and we will work with Lab Testing API to resolve any issues.
